| Here are some commonly asked questions and
answers about our program.
Q: Is SporTexas Marketing affiliated with the
schools or organizations whose sports
schedules are featured on their posters.
A:SporTexas Marketing is not
affiliated with schools or organizations
unless we specifically tell you how we
are connected to the schools. We
do work with schools and organizations
in some instances, but many of our
posters are simply private enterprise. However, our posters always help
promote school and sport organizations
activities by getting their schedules
before the public.
Q: We have been approached by some poster
salesmen who promise that they will produce
a large number of posters for distribution.
Then we find out they have only given one
poster to each advertiser. Is this the way
SporTexas operates as well?
A: Absolutely not! SporTexas is a Texas company and our employees live and
work in many of the communities that we
serve. We distribute the number of
products promised and live up to our
promises. If you know of an unscrupulous
poster salesperson who makes guarantees
that the poster business doesn’t live up
to, report them to the fraud division of
the Texas Attorney General’s office.
Q: How are the sports posters distributed.
A: The posters are distributed through the
advertisers, convenience stores, groups
and other businesses who want to help
schools and/or sports teams get out the
information about when and where they
play their games.
SPORTEXAS COUPONS
Q: How does the coupon promotion work? Do I get
free coupon books to give to my customers or
do they have to buy the coupons like some
other marketing promotions?
A: SporTexas Coupon Books absolutely do
NOT have to be purchased by your
customers like some other coupon
books. Each business which advertises
their services or products in our coupon
book gets a specific amount of booklets
to hand out to their best customers. Other advertisers in the booklet
also get free booklets to hand out to
their customers. That gets the
coupons into the hands of lots of
potential new customers for you and your
business.
Q: I want to advertise in the coupon book but I
can only afford to give away so many of the
discounts offered in the book. How do I know
how many people will use this discount?
A: It is unlikely that everyone who takes a
coupon book will use your coupon.
However, there is no way to tell how
many people will use the coupon so make
sure you can afford the discount that
the coupon offers. The most common
number of coupon books we offer is 500. So if you are offering a half price
meal with the purchase of another meal
of the same value, make sure you can
afford to produce the two meals for that
cost and still make money. Remember
though, this is a promotion and will
have a beginning and ending date.
